Hana Romová studied English and German Philology in Prague, Berlin and Oxford. She received her doctorate on English Philology from Charles University in Prague and another doctorate on German Philology from the University of Ostrava. She studied Applied Law at the University of Applied Law in Prague and completed a postgraduate programme for interpreters and translators at the Charles University's Law School. She works as an academic assistant at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic. Her research interests include specialised languages as well as the morphology and lexicology of English and German.
