Hervé Delplanque is a doctor of law and a member of the Valenciennes bar. His practice focusses mainly on criminal law, and he regularly advises prison, police and gendarmerie officers. He is the president of the Institut Sociétés et Humanités at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France in Valenciennes.
