Janek Scholz is a researcher and lecturer at the Luso-Brazilian Institute of the University of Cologne and at the Lusophone World Centre in Cologne. He works in the field of Literature, with an emphasis on Brazilian and African Portuguese-language literatures, graphic novels, post-colonialism and gender studies, as well as Italian-Brazilian relations in literature.
