About us

We tackle each new project with ambition and lots of positive energy. Our focus lies on every relevant detail as well as our customers’s satisfaction. Not to mention our prime goal: to publish a book worthy of it’s name!

Astrid Matthes

Astrid Matthes is co-publisher at Frank & Timme. As head of editing, she has an eye on the big picture and organises our appearances at trade fairs and conferences. Astrid takes care of rights and licences and supports our authors and their books from the first contact to the advertising campaign. When she is not in the office, she often has her cello in her arm or hiking boots on her feet.

Oliver Renner

Oliver Renner is co-publisher at Frank & Timme. He is the man of numbers and head of production, where he puts his heart and soul into the manuscripts’ typesetting but also into the books’ and e-books’ distribution. When he’s not in the office, he spends time with his family, swims laps in the pool or plays the piano.

Andre Podes

Andre Podes is our go-to guy for all things digital. From typesetting to website production—he has every bit, byte and pixel under control. When he’s not in the office, he listens to one of the records in his collection or writes a short story.

Daniela Haak

Daniela Haak supports our Team as a trainee in editing, distribution and marketing. When she's not in the office, you'll find her with a novel at a reading or teaching German as a second language as a volunteer. 

Nanda Wetzel

Nanda Wetzel is a trainee, guiding manuscripts on their journey to publication–all the way from editing over marketing campaigns to distribution. When she's not in the office, she listens to podcasts while rambling through nature or plans her next travel adventure.

Hanna Reininger

Hanna Reininger tackles all special tasks at Frank & Timme—from B for book fair to I for inventory to T for text drafts. When she's not in the office, her heart beats for comics, soft serve and her husband's cooking.
