Kulturen – Kommunikation – Kontakte (Cultures – Communication – Contacts)—the title of the series stands for mediation between the principles of constancy and variability, order and chaos, historicity and modernity, isolation and community, of seriousness and the ludative, the part and the whole, the physicality of human beings and their artefacts’ technicality as well as the success and failure of action, language and community. The volumes in the series capture all of this—often in inter-cultural, inter-lingual and inter-disciplinary ways.

Before publication, every manuscript is anonymously reviewed by the series’ editors and/or by external scientists.
