The Brandes-Gesellschaft’s (Brandes Society) tasks are to impart literature and to promote cultural transfer. Schriften der Brandes-Gesellschaft für Literaturvermittlung und Kulturtransfer (Publications by the Brandes Society for Imparting Literature and Promoting Cultural Transfer) is—like the society itself—committed to the ideals of the Danish writer, literary critic and cultural mediator Georg Brandes.
Before publication, every manuscript is anonymously reviewed by the series’ editors and/or by external scientists.
