Studies in Translation Theory provides an interdisciplinary forum for research on historical and contemporary topics in translation theory. The book series publishes works on

• the history of the reflection on translation;
• the foundations of translation-oriented research in various academic discourses;
• classical theories and the premises for their development;
• the linguistic and cultural specificity of reflecting on and conceptualizing translation theory;
• the development of new theoretical perspectives and conceptual formulations for contemporary translation phenomena

The series publishes monographs and edited volumes, including conference proceedings, as well as translations of work on translation theory.

Before publication, every manuscript is anonymously reviewed by the series’ editors and/or by external scientists.
