Dilek Dizdar studied Translation Studies and Theoretical Linguistics at Boğaziçi University Istanbul and Linguistics, Sociology of Culture and German Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She researches and teaches at Boğaziçi University Istanbul and is a founding board member of the International Center for Writing and Translation at the University of California at Irvine.
