Alexander Bierich, Prof. Dr., teaches Slavic Philology in the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Trier. His research interests include the Slavic languages from a cultural semantic perspective, their cognitive semantics, contrastive lexicology, and phraseology and phraseography.
