Anna Żurek, Prof. Dr. habil., heads the Szkoła Języka Polskiego i Kultury dla Cudzoziemców (School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners) at the University of Wrocław. She is a linguist, language teacher, speech therapist and examiner for Polish as a foreign language. Her research interests include language acquisition theory, bilingualism and multilingualism, language etiquette and intercultural communication.
