Anne Walther studied Education, German and English at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. In 1993, she began teaching at Olbernhau Grammar School. This was followed by teaching assignments at various secondary schools. In 2006 she completed her doctorate externally at the University of Technology Chemnitz. Currently she works at a grammar school in Zwickau.
