Antonina Lakner lives and works as a freelance translator in Vienna. Since 2008, she has also worked as a lecturer at the Centre for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna, where she herself studied translation studies and received her Ph.D. in 2016. The topic of exile has been her interest for many years. From this has developed her interest in identity issues.
