Benedikt Schubert studied Musicology and Modern History in Weimar and Jena. In 2016, he received his doctorate with a thesis on Johann Sebastian Bach's St. John Passion. From 2017 to 2020, he worked on his own project at the Bach Archive in Leipzig. Benedikt Schubert is curator of Bach exhibitions in Arnstadt and Ohrdruf.
