Bernd von Kostka studied History and Political Science as well as Public Law in Trier and Stafford (Great Britain). He was acting director of the Allied Museum, Berlin. Previously, he was a consultant for television productions, documentaries and magazines on the Berlin Airlift and curator of exhibitions on the Berlin Spy Tunnel and the Allied Military Liaison Missions in Potsdam.
