Birte Möpert discovered her passion for languages and foreign cultures at an early age. After stays in the USA and Australia, she studied Interpreting and Translating for English and Spanish at Leipzig University. In the course of her studies, she spent two semesters at the Universidade de Vigo in Spain and worked for several months in New York City. She is a freelance certified interpreter and translator. For many years, dance has also been an important part of her life. This book combines both interests, bringing aesthetics, art and science together for mutual benefit.
