Caroline Rolka's training focused on the preservation of garden monuments and cultural landscape research, in addition to classical landscape architecture. She worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Object Construction / Landscape Architecture at the Technical University in Berlin from 2002 to 2006. Currently, she is working as a scientific volunteer at the Landesdenkmalamt Berlin. In addition, she is a lecturer in the seminar Preservation of Garden Monuments in Master's program Monument Preservation at the Technical University in Berlin. As a freelance garden monument pfleger she supervises several projects in Leipzig, Vienna and Bad Elster.
