Christina Hofmann-Randall studied Modern History, Hispanic Studies and Slavic Studies at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since 1999 she has been head of the Department of Manuscripts and Prints and Drawings at the University Library of Erlangen-Nuremberg. She has published numerous articles and catalogs on book and library history as well as on the history of the early modern period.
