Christina Maria Ersch studied German Philology and Scandinavian Studies in Göttingen, as well as German as a Foreign Language in Mainz, where she works as a research assistant. She teaches German as a Foreign and Second Language and obtained a doctorate in German as a Foreign Language. Her research interests focus on foreign language teaching and grammar instruction, culturally reflective learning as well as on virtual teaching and artificial intelligence.
