Clara Luise Finke studied Speech Science and Phonetics at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and completed her Ph.D. in this subject in 2018. She worked as a freelancer for radio, as a trainer for rhetoric and speech education, and as a staff member at the Center for Teacher Education at her alma mater. Since 2019, she heads the Department of Speech Science at Leipzig University.
