Detlef Stapf is a trained engineer. He worked as business editor and long-time editor of the features section of Nordkurier in Neubrandenburg. He has published several works on contemporary art and art history as well as articles on media sociology and the relationship between East and West Germans. The publicist and communications consultant currently lives in Neuwied am Rhein.
