Ekkehard Ochs is a musicologist and music director. He studied Music Education, German Philology and Musicology at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. Since 1965 he has worked at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald, first as a research assistant, and since 1969 as university music director.
