Éva Kocziszky is a professor of German Literature at the Department of German and Translation Studies at the Pannonian University of Veszprém (Hungary). She has extensive teaching and research experience in Hungary, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States, and is an acknowledged expert on Hölderlin, 18th and early 19th century poetry, and its reception.
