Georg Löckinger holds a doctorate in Technical Translation and Terminology. After working for several years as a freelance and employed technical translator and terminologist, he was active as a research assistant at the University of Vienna and at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Since September 2013, he has held a professorship for technical communication at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
