Halit Üründü studied German Philology at Atatürk University (Erzurum, Turkey). After studies, research assistance and doctorate at Ege University (Izmir), he is now an assistant professor at the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and the Institute of Western Languages and Literatures at Niğde University. He researches and teaches on Austrian Literature, Exile and Post-War Literature.
