Hana Menclová studied German language and literature and sports at Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic), where she also received her Ph.D. in 2016. She is a research associate in German linguistics at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň (Czech Republic). Her research focusses on the morphology and lexicology of the German language.
