Hans Bergel (1925–2022), Dr. h. c., born in transilvanian Râşnov (Rumania), has lived in Bavaria and Italy from 1986 on. He is the author of more than fifty books. His highly decorated work is focussed on aspects of interculturality. It includes prose and poems, but also theoretical writings on art, literature and culture, on history, ethnology and ethnic psychology.
