Hans Günther is a prof. em. of Slavic Studies at Bielefeld University. The focus of his research and publications is Russian literature of the 19th and 20th centuries, especially Russian culture and literature from the avant-garde to socialist realism. His long-standing collaboration with international Platonov research has resulted in numerous publications in German and Russian.
