Helga Spriestersbach studied Communications Engineering at FH Koblenz (Dipl.-Ing.) and Philosophy at FernUniversität Hagen (M.A.). Before joining the radio department of SWF/SWR Baden-Baden as a project engineer, she worked for Bosch Fernseh GmbH Darmstadt in the film and television technology division. She also worked for many years as a translator for the German-French culture channel ARTE.
