Hüner Tuncer, Doz. Dr., worked as a diplomat in Copenhagen, Mexico, Milan, Oslo and Pretoria until 1997. In 1998, she habilitated at the Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University. She has taught at various universities, including Ankara University, Atılım University, Middle East Technical University and Hacettepe University. In 2010, she received the Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art. She has published numerous books.
