Ibou Coulibaly Diop is a university lecturer and researcher. He studied Romance Languages and Literature and German as a Foreign Language in Berlin and Potsdam. There, he began to focus his research on contemporary literature and, in particular, on the issues raised by globalization. His current research focuses on theories of Black literature, universality, transculturality, afropolitanism, and cosmopolitanism.
