Ines Theilen studied Modern German Literature and Spanish Philology at the University of Potsdam and the University of Seville and received her Ph.D. in General and Comparative Literature in 2007. Her research focusses on textual strategies of sensualization as well as literary border crossings and migrant literature. She lives as a freelance lecturer in Berlin.
