Jana Pocrnja, Dr. MMag. MA, holds a Ph.D. in Romance philology from the University of Vienna. She has made several research stays in Paris, Alicante, Córdoba, Madrid and Mexico. She is a professor, translator, author, researcher and lecturer. Her main lines of research focus on aspects related to the philosophy and theory of literature, as well as she has carried out different works within cultural studies.
