Joachim Wink studied Romance Literature and Modern History and taught at the University of Limoges. In 2006, he completed his doctorate in French-German cotutelle (Clermont-Ferrand/Augsburg). He worked at the University of Rostock and at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Since 2016, he is running integration courses in Gransee and Berlin but continues researching early modern criticism of religion and power, including Pulci, Ariosto and Molière.
