Joanna Szczęk is a lecturer at the Institute of Germanic Philology, University of Wrocław. She holds the Chair of Applied Linguistics at the Institute of Germanic Philology, University of Wrocław (Poland). After her German studies and a Ph.D. in Linguistics, she habilitated at the University of Wrocław in 2015. She teaches and conducts research on German-Polish phraseology, pragmalinguistics, text linguistics, translatorics, onomastics, and the didactics of DaF.
