Jürgen Lehmann, Prof. em. Dr., is a Germanist and Slavicist. After studying German, Slavic studies and philosophy in Münster, Freiburg im Breisgau, Moscow and Leningrad, he held the chair of Comparative Literature and Modern German Literary History at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg until 2006. Numerous publications bear witness to his broad research interests.
