Karsten Weber, PD Dr. phil., teaches at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt/Oder, where he habilitated in 2004. In research and teaching, he deals with issues of the protection of civil rights and the fair distribution of basic goods, in addition to topics related to the philosophy of science. He is the spokesperson of the GI's Computer Science and Ethics Group and a member of other interdisciplinary research groups.
