Kerstin Preiwuß lives in Leipzig. She studied German, Philosophy and Psychology in Leipzig and Aix-en-Provence and at Deutsches Literaturinstitut (German Institute of Literature) Leipzig, where she also taught. She is currently editor of the literary magazine Edit. Her poetry debut, Nachricht von neuen Sternen, was published in 2006 by Connewitzer Verlagsbuchhandlung, Leipzig. In 2012, her second volume of poetry Rede was published by Suhrkamp Verlag. In addition, numerous publications in magazines, newspapers and anthologies.
