Klaus-Dietrich Städtke

Klaus-Dietrich Städtke studied Slavic Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, doctorate (1967), habilitation (1971). Scientific director at the Central Institute for Literary History of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR in Berlin. Since 1988 in the Federal Republic, from 1989 to 1999 Professor of Eastern European Cultural History at the University of Bremen. Main fields of work: Russian literature and cultural history, literary theory.
