László V. Szabó received his doctorate in Budapest in 2005 on the influence of Nietzsche on Hermann Hesse. He is a university lecturer in modern German-Language Literature at the Pannonian University of Veszprém (Hungary) and researched the estate of Rudolf Pannwitz in the German Literature Archive in Marbach as part of a Humboldt Fellowship.
