Leif Murawski studied Slavic Studies, Comparative Literature and German Philology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. In addition to his lecturing activities and his own literary projects, he devotes himself to practical human science in social work. He is currently researching concepts of the body in 19th and 20th century European literature.
