Loránd L. Mádly, Dr., has been researching at the "George Barițiu" Institute of the Romanian Academy in Cluj (Romania) since 2001. His work focusses on the history of neo-absolutism and in general on the second half of the 19th century, on the legal and administrative history of Transylvania and the Habsburg Monarchy in the 19th century, as well as on the edition of German- and Hungarian-language sources.
