Luisa Muraro

Luisa Muraro studied Philosophy at the Catholic University of Milan, she worked as a teacher in the late 1960ies, taught and did research at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Verona until 2005. Co-founder of the Libreria delle donne di Milano (1975), of the women philosophers' community Diotima (Verona) and of the magazine for political practice Via Dogana (Milan), she is known not only as the author of numerous books, articles and essays, but also for her presence at congresses and events in the European and non-European area.
