Marcel Klinke, Dr. phil., studied Musicology and German Philology at the University of Greifswald (B.A.) and Universität Hamburg (M.A.). After working in the DFG projects Die frühesten Werke von Richard Strauss (The Earliest Works of Richard Strauss) at the University of Greifswald and Computergestützte Analysen harmonischer Strukturen (Computer-Aided Analysis of Harmonious Structures) at Saarland University, he joined the project Musik über eigene Musik. Eigenparodien in der frühneuzeitlichen Messe (Music on One's Own Music. Self Parody in Early Modern Mass) at Heidelberg University.
