Maren Hartmann is a professor of Communication Sociology at the University of the Arts (UdK) Berlin. Before, she worked at the Universities of Bremen and Erfurt (Germany). She also had several university posts first in the UK and later in Belgium, both as a researcher and a lecturer. She is also involved in several European initiatives. Her research interests include media ethnographies, cybercultures and the domestication concept.
