Martin Mostýn, Doc. Mgr. (Ph.D.), is a lecturer at the department of German Philology at the University of Ostrava. He specialises in synchronic and applied linguistics, particularly in technical communication, foreign word formation as well as the linguistic means of expressing emotion in German in comparison with Czech. He is the (co-)author of several monographs and studies and a member of the editorial board of the journals AFPUO Studia Germanistica and Fachsprache.
