Martin Ritter was a research assistant in the Department of International Communication at the University of Erfurt from 2006 to 2008. His research focused on the media systems of Asia. The project "Media and Democratization in Cambodia" of the Thuringian-Cambodian Society (TKG) enabled several research stays in Phnom Penh. Since 2008, he has been working as a consultant for citizens' broadcasting, local television and media location at the Thuringian State Media Authority (TLM).
