Mathias Meert, Dr., completed his Ph.D. on the dramatic works of Richard Beer-Hofmann at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2016 after studying German, Romance, and Literary Studies there, and at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL). Since 2017, he has been a FWO postdoctoral fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He has been a member of the Brussels Centre for Literary and Intermedial Crossings (CLIC) since 2012 and Secretary since 2017. His work and research focus on drama and theater of (Viennese) modernism, intertextuality and intermediality, literary mime, and narratology and drama.
