Michael Weichenhan studied Protestant Theology, Philosophy and History of Natural Sciences, among other things. He is a research associate at the Collaborative Research Center Transformations of Antiquity at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and teaches in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. His research focusses on the history of science and philosophy in the Middle Ages and early modern period as well as the history of oriental philologies and astrology.
