Natalia (Natalya) Zalipyatskikh is a researcher in Specialised Communication and a specialist in Foreign Language Teaching. She has demonstrated her expertise in relevant publications and through "STATIONEN", the Bielefeld model for teaching materials which she developed to teach specialist communication. She is a lecturer at Paderborn University and conducts research into the didactics of German as a Foreign Language, focussing on the use of literary texts, narratives and classroom interaction, as well as the professionalisation of language teachers.
