Zimmermann, M.A., studied History, German Philology, Philosophy, Business Administration / Commerce and German as a Foreign Language at universities in Tübingen, Sackville (Canada) and Berlin. He works in the project for researching the history of Commerzbank at the Chair of Contemporary History at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
